The sunsets are usually absolutely breathtaking if good Ol' Mother Nature cooperates! A wonderful early evening dinner, sunset cruise before heading to our night at the community theater.

A romantic getaway in the soft Florida Hills. We arrive early afternoon show that you can browse around the city to explore the fantastic shops, boutiques, antiques and art galleries that line the streets of our quaint but elegant Mt. Dora.  This little town is nestled in the soft rolling hills and has become one of the premier art show communities in the nation. 

Our early evening dinner is at the Lakeside Inn at the Beauclaire Dining Room. With its crescent of French windows looking out onto resort gardens, Beauclaire combines a relaxed atmosphere with sophistication with Southern warmth and hospitality.  Winner of the Mystery Diner Five Forks commendation and Central Florida Magazine's Reader's Choice Award, the kitchen excels at contemporary American cuisine with a Dixie accent.

After dinner we will stroll down to the lake and meet our pontoon boat for a narrated tour and evening sunset  cruise. With a little luck at sunset we will see a spectacular array of colors along with the powder blue skies. .

Our group heads out to the Icehouse theater for a small but well renown show. Our little community theater will keep us entertained for the evening.  Directly after the show we head back to our appointed destinations with great memories, friendships and a touch of Southern Hospitality to cherish forever.
