About the Tour

Macons Cherry Blossom Festivals

Our 1880 host is all dolled up and ready to Celebrate the festivals. Be sure to bring a green frock and you dandies bring a green vest or coat as I expect the best of Southern manners!

We are staying in Macon, GA a lovely continental breakfast before we head out on our coach to the Cherry Blossom Festival. I hear tell the Cherry Blossom's are in full bloom (weather permit'n, of course). This year we hope we've timed it just right. My cousin Melody has promised that all 275,000 cherry trees will be in bloom. She or one of my cousins up there is going to give us a special tour through Macon's most beautiful neighborhoods and promised a visit to the antebellum house museums.

I should feel right at home but what is this? They turned my beautiful plantation into a museum?

They have also promised a fabulous meal in an antebellum mansion and special entertainment with other Southern Belles (such as myself) and dapper young gentlemen (I love that idea!) to round out this Top 100 Event in North America.
